Hello! I am an early retiree who has raised two successful children, four dogs, and seven cats. Having escaped the office world, I now have time to travel.
I like exploring the United States by going wherever house sitting takes me.
I am experienced with cats, dogs, plants, and gardens. Gardening is my passion. Having been a homeowner and landlord, I am familiar with home maintenance issues and yard care. I have installed landscapes at two homes, and maintained a thriving vegetable plot at a community garden.
I am mature and responsible, with a bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Austin. I can speak a little Spanish. Originally from Texas, I now live in Oregon where it's cooler. Democrat. Fully vaccinated. Non-smoker
Dawn did a wonderful job taking care of our condo and two cats. She was responsive to my emails and sent photos of the boys while we were away. Our place was cleaner than we left it, and she left us a lovely gift.
I would not hesitate to have Dawn sit for us again, should she ever want to return to Chicago!
Make sure the garden & the potted plants are thriving when you return home. A house sitter will do this for you.
