I am a semi-retired mom and grandma who loves travel and adventure. I spent 20 yrs wandering around with my husband during his career in the US Air Force. When he retired in 1994 we built a home and settled in Moore, OK. We have been sharing this acre of land with a number of dogs & cats who have adopted us over the years. Being on the outskirts of town with open land has provided us the opportunity to rescue a number of furry friends.

I just recently finished being a caretaker for my husband's 94 yr old mom with dementia and decided that I would like to resume traveling. Signing up to be a house sitter seemed like an ideal way to combine my love of travel with my ability to care for others. I am very conscientious and will look after your home and pets in a caring and professional manner.

I am very active and love the outdoors. My land is extensively landscaped and I have been working part time as a landscaper in my area. I have had a small private nursery business, growing drought tolerant plants for the past 8 years but just recently closed it to focus on running my sons office. I work from home running my son's office but I'm still able to travel and work from wherever I'm housesitting. I do need to have a home with an excellent WIFI connection. Please be honest about this. Some homeowners have not been and in once recent case I almost had to leave the agreed upon housesit and return home.

I am a non-smoking neat freak. My kids call me a hippie because I recycle and reuse everything. I believe in being a responsible citizen of the earth and using all of our resources wisely.

I AM ALLERGIC TO CIGARETTE SMOKE AND CANNOT STAY IN A HOME WHERE ANYONE HAS SMOKED, EVEN IF IT WAS YEARS AGO. THANKS FOR UNDERSTANDING.

Housesitting jobs located near water will always catch my attention because I'm an avid kayaker. This is one of my favorite forms of exercise.

Julia is the best! She is not only reliable. but she cares for our home and our kitty as if they were hers. She's very neat, organized, and an excellent communicator. We treat her like family because that's how we view her.

Absolutely loved having Julie sit for us. Thoughtful, easy to communicate with. Took perfect care of our exuberant Siamese kitten, patio garden was happy, and the house was clean and tidy. We would LOVE to have her back to sit with us again.

Julia took care of my two boys for the entire month of December 2021. It was the first time I used this service, and I couldn't be happier. It gave me such peace of mind to know that someone was there for them. My older kitty, Buddy, is a very finicky eater. Julia was fantastic. She got here a day early and we went over everything with our dog Lexi. She took excellent care of her. She sent us pictures, and took her walking. We felt at ease being gone knowing she was taken well care of.. it was also very helpful for us that she took us and picked us up from the airport. I'm glad she stay the night when we got home so she could have a full day to drive home the next day. We went out to eat and got to visit with her more and she's such a neat lady.

Julia is fantastic! She is smart, capable, and proactive. We would trust her with anything, which made leaving our cats in her care, as well as our home and garden, an easy choice. She's a great communicator and sent updates of the cats and garden throughout the weeks. She agreed to a virtual Zoom meeting prior to us going on vacation so we could meet and make sure she was a good fit. No rating I can't say enough good things about Julia, so many, in fact, that she's coming back for another house sit. Julia is very responsible, experienced, professional, caring, and attentive. While we were away, there was an issue with our air conditioning, but before contacting our handyman, Julia checked all the circuit breakers and attempted to find the cause of the problem. No rating I would recommend Julia anytime to be a house/dog sitter. She watched our dog and house for 2 weeks and everything worked out great. She kept in excellent communication and was very respectful. She went above and beyond by cleaning and taking excellent care of our dog. She is great, I would not hesitate having Julia house/dog sit again.

In addition, she was good at communicating with us as to the time of her arrival when her plane was delayed in Dallas. Upon returning home, we found our condo to be immaculate and everything in order. I would recommend Julia to anyone seeking a house sitter.

What a warm person. The first thing she did when she came into our home was to sit down and get to know the dogs - before us even! I loved that.
