Very active, non-smoking couple, now retired from lengthy careers in corporate America. We enjoy travel, hiking, biking, kayaking, cross-country skiing, photography, cooking, and gardening. We are happiest out in nature but enjoy a healthy dose of culture as well. Although we do not own pets at this time, due to our focus on both domestic and international travel, we love animals and pet sit for our friends whenever possible. We would care for your home and your 4-legged family members as if they were our own.

Lovely experience. Terry, Lu's husband took great care of our home and our 2 dogs. He walked them every day and sent us pictures. He left the house is great condition; clean and the same as it was when he arrived. He is a personable guy as well. We would certainly have him back.

Terry (LuAnn's husband) started the sit and was joined the last weekend by his wife LuAnn. Terry was a very likable man from our first let's meet FaceTime when he arrived for his stint and throughout his stay. The neighbors reported that he was very nice and walked my dog Lucas frequently. My garden looked better when I returned than it did when I left. The house was spotless, everything in place, and I could tell my fur babies were well cared for. Terry and Lu were awesome! Our house was spotless and our dog didn't miss us at all. A nice meal was waiting for us when we got home. Even our neighbors loved them and now they have sitting jobs for a few of my neighbors later this month. We highly recommend Terry and Lu and will use them again.

No rating We and our three labs rate LuAnn and Terry FIVE STARS! The first star for being caring. Our dogs felt pampered and doted on. They were brushed, fed, and walked—same routines as if we were here. We came back to a clean house and as a bonus there was a delicious meal of cornbread (best we've ever had) and chicken stew waiting for us. The second star for being conscientious. No rating We can't speak highly enough of Luann and Terry, they are the most wonderful people. They house sat for us for 3 weeks this past fall. They were so considerate with communication and even sent us a text with a picture of our pet to let us know all was well. We felt completely at ease with being away for so long. Upon arriving home, after a 10 hour drive, we discovered our home was perfectly cleaned and Luann had even left some soup for us! What a kind and thoughtful couple! They are dear people ... MORE

They inspired our confidence with prompt, thoughtful communication from the beginning as well as during our trip. Our kitty was clearly calm and content when we returned, and the house was spotless. No rating Luann & Terry were a Dream Come True. Being this was the first time using this service, we were weary of course leaving our ":girls" and home to strangers. They were responsible and caring. They made us feel comfortable by sending daily texts and pics of their dog outings. We came home to our house spotless and Happy Girls. I would give this couple an A+++ rating. We now have a new faith with the service and new "Family" members. Wonderderful couple.
