I am a frequent traveler and love to help others fulfill their dreams of adventure.
I have sat with cats, dogs, rabbits, birds and a bearded dragon lizard. I like to spoil them because its hard on them when their people are away. They are happy if they hear their peoples voices every so often. Even the lizard.
I am a widow and bit of a neat freak, non smoker.
I prefer longer sits, at the least 4+ weeks. I like to immerse myself in the community. I have owned a house on acreage so I enjoy rural settings as well as city.
I can provide excellent references from previous sits. I have a valid Texas driver license, US passport, and background check.

Angel was a complete delight. As this was my first experience with a house sitter, I was understandably cautious. Angel put me at ease and then showed her flawless character by taking great care of my home and cat. I will definitely have her back when needed.

This was my first time using House Sitters of America, so I had a little anxiety about turning my house and dog over to a complete stranger, but Angel was wonderful. She gave me references to check, which I did and were glowing. She kept in touch before she house sat and also while we were away. Angel was a great sitter for us and wonderful with our three cats. Our home was damaged by Hurricane Harvey and I knrw when we first spoke by phone that she truly was an Angel as she volunteered that if there was another hurricane while we were gone she would evacuate with my cats. Communication with Angel was great and our home was spotless when we returned home. My first housesitter experience was perfect. I was out of the country and brief emails were enough to keep me comfortable. Angel took care of everything. The house was cleaner than I had left it for her. The dog and cat were sleek and happy and she genuinely loves animals. She gave the dog new experiences and they both made new friends. Angel, well... was an angel... our "girls" standard poos knew and reacted inviting the moment we opened the door. Angel greeted them first, Angel knows what pets need first impression, she knew their approval, curiosity and comfort was important, and different between dogs and cats. When we returned our fur babies had absolutely no behavior changes, which showed us that she valued and followed our "care book" plus our home was clean and neat! A +++
