Hello! We are a family of 4 (mom, dad and 2 teens, 17 and 15). As tech entrepreneurs we have been able to travel extensively with our kids since they were toddlers. We home-school our children, and in addition to the 3 R's, travel and recreation make up an important part of their early education.

Our roots are in Chicago. Since 2004, when we were first bitten by the travel bug, we've lived on the west coast between San Diego, the Bay Area (Berkeley) and Seattle.

Though we've lived in large cities, we've come to really enjoy discovering neat, under-the-radar small towns, and meeting new people from around the country.
Our travel experience includes years (aggregate) of living in furnished rental homes owned by fellow traveling enthusiasts - academics, winter birds, home-school families and others. To our great delight, we've also cared for - and fallen in love through house sitting with - a few special dogs and cats along the way. We really embrace the lifestyle of travel and staying in warm, welcoming, lived-in homes - especially when they come with adorable, loving pets.

We are current members of Trustedhousesitters, with over 15 5 star reviews, and have been background checked per TH sitting requirements. Additionally, we have just as many 5 star reviews, as guests from AirBnb.

Jo and the Sullins family were fabulous house and pet sitters! We would love to have them back at any time. Our 2 dogs were happy and well exercised daily and they took good care of our cat and horses as well. The house was immaculate with all clean sheets and towels when we came home— which was such a relief after being gone so long. They are kind and friendly and fun to visit with. Many thanks to them and I highly recommend them. Come back any time!

What a joy to have Josephine and her family house sit and care for our pups for us! Our house was spotless when we got home, and it was clear our dogs loved all the attention. Josephine was great with communication and flexibility. We can't thank them enough, and would rebook in a heartbeat!
