Sara & Gabriel

Hi there!

First of all, thanks for reviewing my profile!

A little about me/us: I (Sara) have been working remotely for several years with a non-profit that teaches meditation while getting a Masters degree in Integrative Health Studies and obtaining my national board certification as a health & wellness coach.

Gabriel is a freelance video producer and editor (has traveled quite a bit and often does projects with various branches of the United Nations). We met in New Mexico but he lives in Portland and it works as we are both independent people who enjoy traveling separately and together. We each have a lot of experience pet sitting and have made great connections and even lasting friendships with pet/home owners in the process. It's a special treat to experience new places and spend time with animal companions since we do not currently have any of our own.

We both adore animals and have experience watching both cats and dogs of all ages and sizes and varying temperaments, and some that have required medications and extra support. We know how important it is to keep them on schedule and look out for any changes in their well-being.

We are both committed to making sure people can feel completely at ease knowing their animals are not just safe, but loved-up while they are away. One of my own favorite parts about house sitting is getting to know the personalities of each animal and finding ways to connect with them in their own "love language."

We both have great references from house/pet sitting and if you'd like I can forward you testimonials or get you in touch with those home/pet-owners. Almost all of the photos in my profile are of pets I've watched! The parakeet was like one of my soul mates (RIP!) and the tortoise is an 80+ year-old family friend (who's full of character).
