My husband and I have been traveling full-time since 1996 when he grabbed a golden parachute and took early retirement from EXXON USA.
During those years we have enjoyed a varitey of living arrangements including two RV's, Timeshares, Condos and Vacation Home Rentals (VRBO). We love waking up in a new location and treat each property as if it were our own. Sometimes we have even left a property in better shape than it was in when we arrived!
Although we claim to be retired, we are really location independent professional computer geeks. Dan has a computer software business and spends time online researching his stocks, while I am a travel agent and write travel related articles for blogs and update our social media sites.
While Dan enjoys cooking, I find it relaxing to do housework. We both enjoy long walks and being outdoors. We do not have pets due to our travels. However, we often find ourselves called upon by our three children to care for their pets along with the grandchildren (one girl and three boys) and a great grand daughter (now 4).
I grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan while he grew up in Louisiana. I am a little bit country, while he is more of a city guy. Opposites attract right?
Neither of us are smokers and we are both healthy, active baby boomers. We look forward to spending time caring for your property wherever it may be. References upon request.
