D & MR
We are multi-faceted individuals who are always looking to bend the norms of life and live in terms that inspire us best. We relish the opportunity to exchange ideas and explore a value or view that we may not call our own. Most of what we do is to better understand the world around us and keep open lines of communication for greater acceptance and understanding.
This extends to the lovely animal world. We pride ourselves on being patient and showing up in whatever ways an animal needs us to. We open ourselves to being received without force because we understand that the comfort of creatures is incredibly important. This may also contribute to why many have said we are good at non-verbal communication. We are always willing to learn because we believe every little detail is important.
I have spent the better part of the last two years finishing a house for/with my parents in Wisconsin. I saw the limitations of the pandemic as an opportunity to spend time with family and provide a much needed service to my loved ones. Together we returned to Colorado for the new year and welcomed my sister's twin boys. After six months of helping out, I was ready to head out and see something new.
I currently write a weekly column for a local apothecary in Castle Rock, CO. If teas, crystals, and personal development interest you, please check out the journal entries by Kosi Kosi (contact us for the link).
About Mary Rose:
For the last three years, I've worked with the public library system in Nashville, TN. My work with the library allowed me to meet and learn from many different local and traveling artists and performers who live life on their own terms. The exchanges with these individuals and the successful application of remote work during the pandemic allowed me to realize my own dream of traveling and working. Traveling to new places to offer house- and pet-sitting services has become the most fulfilling method of achieving this dream for me, with emphasis on the wonderful bonus of caring for all types of sweet animal and plant babies to rain my love and attention upon.
We hope these words open bits of confidence in two strangers who wish nothing more than to rebuild the fabric of human interaction from fear and hesitation into trust and understanding. We're extremely easy-going and find such joy in serving others. We've had many wonderful experiences house- and pet-sitting and would love to continue building the catalog of stories to tell.
Please do not hesitate to send us questions - we are as open as they come! Appreciate your time.
