Greetings!
We are an adventurous, professional, responsible recently-retired couple in our 60's. We take the trust of our clients very seriously. Will care for your pets, home, plants and garden as if they were our own.
I am a retired college and hospital maintenance manager who grew up in Wisconsin having worked on farms after school and weekends working fields and feeding animals. As you may guess from my background, I am a very hands-on type of person skilled at carpentry, plumbing, electrical, small engine work and such. If you need chores completed during our stay that can be a conversation. We can easily manage any situation that may arise in your home in your absence with communication and your guidance. My wife is a social worker who provided home studies for couples wishing to adopt. She has worked in hospital settings and numerous group homes. We live in a cabin in southern Kentucky nestled in the rolling foothills of Appalachia. Although we love our rural setting we appreciate city life and exploring!
We will provide daily updates with pictures so you never have to worry how your buddies are doing while you are away, and leave your home as if you had not left. We have decades of experience with animals and enjoy caring for them. If they have special needs this is not an issue as we have rescued our share of animals over the years. We hope you will have peace of mind knowing your furry friends are comfortable and secure in their normal routine. We just ask you to provide detailed instructions for your pets, home and property.

Mark and Sandy exceeded my expectations in every way,, from there friendliness to there clear communication, I would most definitely recommend them and hope they will come back. My pup Ziggy was very well cared for, they left our home extra clean. If you get a chance to use them for your house/pet sitter you will want to make them your friends. Cannot thank them enough, They made it easy to enjoy our time away.
Mark and Sandy were just wonderful. They came a day early to meet the farm critters and our Aussie. They bonded with the Aussie immediately. She fell in love with them. They took great care of our home and our chickens and cattle. Mark evidently needed something to do, so he even mowed our yard once. Mark and Sandy are great house sitters. The dogs had a fabulous time with them and they were very well mannered and happy when we returned from our trip. The house was spotless and the garden well tended. Mark mowed the lawn the day before we arrived and it was beautiful. Not only are they good at house sitting they are just good people.
I can't say enough good things about Mark and Sandy :-) We were in Europe (so 6 hours ahead) and every morning when I woke up I had text messages and videos with the dogs, cats, horses and pony and chickens featured having fun! Our house was cleaner than when we left, the plants and yard looked fantastic upon our return (yes, also better than when we left ;-) We actually built a really nice relationship via text and phone calls with them while we were away.
