Hello!

My name is Bonnie, and I would love to be your trusted housesitter. I’ve spent the past 25 years living in Mountain View and Palo Alto, California, working for Stanford University.

In May, I decided to give up my lease in order to travel for a few months to explore the world as a digital nomad, to visit friends and family, spend time with my grandchildren, and discover new neighborhoods with an eye to eventually finding a new home. Probably somewhere less expensive than the Bay Area, though I do need to be on campus now and again.

I have excellent references from my former landlord, neighbors, and colleagues, which I’m happy to provide. I do not smoke, nor play loud music, and I will treat your home with due respect.

The last of my beloved cats passed away in 2022 at 19 years old. I would be delighted to care for and keep your fur babies company while you’re away. I have a green thumb, and will gladly tend to your garden and/or indoor plants as if they were my own.

In exchange for house sitting, I require a safe, comfortable place to sleep, a working kitchen, a desk, and reliable WiFi so that I may continue to work remotely.

This was the first house-sitting experience for us and we were not sure how it would go at first but Bonnie made it so smooth (except for the issues, which we plan to rectify in the future), our cats loved her - I think that says everything that needs to be said. My older cat is very friendly but she was comfortable enough to sleep next to her the first day!! My younger cat is usually afraid to come out if there is a stranger in the house, but she too seemed very comfortable almost on the first ... MORE
