I'm a well-organized person and to put myself through school I used to own a cleaning business, so I'll keep your home neat and clean. I'm fun-loving, energetic, intelligent and love the outdoors. I walk and hike a lot, so your dogs will love their walks, tailored to their needs. I would enjoy caring for your plants and gardens.
I have a lot of experience with animals and will enjoy nurturing cats, dogs, horses, goats (yes I can milk regularly), pot-bellied pigs, chickens, ferrets, turtles, snakes, lizards, birds, to name the most common I have cared for. I am very responsible and will follow instructions and schedules for animal care to the letter. I have cared for animals that need extra care in terms of administering medications, and have cared for a diabetic cat and a cat with hypothyroidism for many years, making sure he had his insulin injections every twelve hours in addition to measured prescription food and thyroid medication twice a day. I think it is important for your pets to feel safe, secure, and loved while you are away.
Of course, if you just want to have someone in your home while you are away I would enjoy that as well.

We can honestly say, that we felt we were in good hands with Sophia house sitting for us. She took good care of the house and all the pets. We had a situation with our well water and our upper pond starting to drain. Sophia was able to handle a challenging situation for us on both counts. Sophia was an excellent house sitter. She left my house in better condition than she when she arrived by planting flowers and offering to do maintenance tasks beyond what I would expect a house sitter to take on. She also took exceptional care of my dog, taking him to the park daily, and I know he missed her when she left. She was always good to communicate, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her on an upcoming sit or have her back.
