Introducing your next House (and Pet) Sitters!

We are a responsible (yet fun-loving) professional couple who both grew up in New Hampshire, moved to North Carolina 24+ years ago, and have been happily married for 23 years and counting. We love to travel, explore local culture and cuisine, and enjoy delicious food and drinks.

We recently made the bold move to retire, sell our house and most of our belongings, and travel full time!!! We enjoy the freedom to explore the world on a flexible time schedule. We love being outdoors - walking, hiking, exploring historic sites, or just going on scenic walks or drives. We will walk for miles in a new area to check out all it has to offer. If your pet loves walking or hiking, it would be our pleasure to have their company as we explore.

We have a natural love for animals (Amera is a licensed, but non-practicing veterinarian). When we had pets of our own, it was always important to us to have them stay in the comfort of their own home with a trusted sitter rather than boarding them in a kennel while we were out of town. While we currently don't have any pets of our own, we love having the companionship of animals as we explore new places.

With our new found retirement and full time traveling life, we now have the flexibility to travel and see more of the country (and world). We find House Sitters America a great way to explore and enjoy new locations in exchange for caring for your house and pets.
