We are a non-smoking active married couple who are free at last! Now that our children are out of the house, we are traveling in search of new adventures. I have spent 25+ years as a software engineer and work remotely for the company I own. After 20+ years as a certified life coach, Lexis is semi-retired and works exclusively with special clients. We love animals and have had the pleasure of living with dogs (some with special needs), cats, and fish, but are currently pet-free.

As longtime homeowners, we are experienced, detail-oriented, and will treat your home and pets and anything else entrusted to our care with the highest degree of respect and attention. We appreciate a well-maintained home and are committed to leaving it clean and tidy for your return.

We love to discover what new areas have to offer especially when we can walk and explore. We have stayed at hotels and Airbnbs but we have found it to be much more fulfilling sitting for amazing homeowners and their loveable pets.

Over 30 years of pet caring experience. I am a cat whisperer, I have loved cats all of my life and easily relate to them. My wife has owned many cats and dogs, some with health concerns that required daily medicine. Some of our beloved pet breeds were English Bulldog, Australian Shephard, Newfoundland Chow mix, Beagle mix, Cocker Spaniel mix, Jack Russel, and Alaskan Malamutes. We've sat for super easy-going cats and dogs to high-maintenance pets, like a Shih Tzu mix easily frightened by thunderstorms and fireworks (the 4th of July was quite a holiday that year)!

In our experience, pets acclimate the easiest and are most comfortable when we keep them on the schedule to which they are accustomed. We have hired pet sitters in the past and understand the kind of trust it takes to have someone stay in your home and we do not take that for granted.

It brings us joy to provide peace of mind for hosts in the hope they can make the most of their time away. We love meeting new people and spending time as a local rather than as a tourist. In our experience, the rewards of caring for great pets in their own homes are limitless.
