I love to travel AND I love animals!
Born and raise in Alaska, I currently live in Fairbanks...Land of the Midnight Sun!!

Recently, I have traveled to Port Townsend, WA to visit family and friends and attend my granddaughter's wedding. While there I was lucky to take care of their horses, chickens, two dogs and my favorite cat in the universe! Other adventures included camping in the mountains on a crystal clear lake, visiting Denver, Colorado and Ketchikan, Alaska to enjoy my sweet family!!

I enjoy taking long walks, trying new recipes, reading, gardening, photography, art galleries and spending time with family and friends.

I would like to expand my travels and I enjoy meeting pets and making new friends. Since I am retired I have the option to travel whenever and wherever I please. It's fun!!

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to write my review. I have talked to her several times since she left my house because we became fast friends. I adore her and my little pup absolutely Loved her! She did such a wonderful job taking care of my sweet dog and went over and above as far as my home was concerned. I came home not to just the same house but a much cleaner and tidier home. She even planted new flowers in the pots in my garden! I cannot say enough good things about her. I certainly know I cannot do her justice. I have quite a few friends and family who thought I was crazy to try this, but it's been the best experience. I've made a new friend who would be welcome to come back to my home anytime! You would never, ever regret having her take care of your home or animals. She is simply delightful!

Twix was the calmest I've ever seen him when I returned. Floss took him everywhere with her - even to lunch with newfound friends from my neighborhood. Warm, down to earth and chattable, Floss loves taking care of animals and acting as their owner when you are gone. It is immediately obvious that she loves your pet and wants to have a safe and fun sit. The amazing thing was that Floss cooked me a homecooked zuppa Toscano dinner with dessert - I had a 40 hour return from Asia and it was lovely ... MORE

The very best house & pet sitter EVER!!! Flo was like an old friend even before she arrived for my house sit. She took exceptional care of my elderly kitties. She is a true cat lover that all pet sitters would desire. I felt so confident that my boys were well taken care of while I was away for 2 months. Once I returned Flo had cleaned the house as if she was never there. She went above and beyond by leaving colorful plants outdoors and the refrigerator was left with delicious food ... MORE
