About Me

** Available for Denver and Denver Metro Home Sits only at this time **

Mature, clean, responsible professional avail to maintain and manage your home, plants and pets. Yard work, minor maintenance, & home admin tasks.

House sitting is much more than having someone stop by your home, walk the dog, feed the cat, and bring in the newspaper and the mail. It's someone to take good care of your home and your life while you are away. It's peace of mind knowing that there is someone responsible occupying and watching your home, catching anything that is leaking, broken, or at risk of damaging the property, loving and taking care of your pets -- from feeding to medical attention -- , and anything important that might come in the mail. A responsible house sitter can catch and handle these things so that you can go on enjoying your time away. I am that responsible, friendly, work-from-home professional to care for, manage and maintain your home, yard, pets and plants. I have an office in Colorado, but with technology I can do all of my work anywhere with an Internet connection. I do not have any pets, but really enjoy animals, and have a wonderful knack with them. I have owned a couple of homes in the Denver area and have done lots of yard work, gardening, finished a basement, built a deck, cared for pets of my own, and general home maintenance. I have experience with house sitting for an Evergreen, Colorado (a mountain community) couple who spent two+ years in the South of France. I was in residence at this property for 2+ years, took care of all needed maintenance, and helped them handle all of their mail and other US administrative needs. Most recently finished a 6-month house sitting assignment in California taking care of a beautiful home, and Joe Bob the cat: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZK1sb1Xb09w

Recommendation: It is with great pleasure that we offer this recommendation in the highest regard for Michael Cordle. We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have had Michael available to oversee our property for close to 3 years while we were living in France. He helped make our time as absentee homeowners as close to worry-free as we could have hoped. Given our status out of the country, we had special administrative needs beyond simple maintenance of our home (e.g., mail collection and occasional response, HOA obligations, etc.) and Michael went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure any issues that arose were communicated to us, investigated and resolved whenever possible. On one occasion, we had a plumbing emergency on our property. Michael not only helped us research and interview contractors so that we could make informed decisions regarding the repair work, he also oversaw the work to ensure its quality and completion. Michael's professionalism, care and attention to detail provided us with a peace of mind that was immeasurable while we were abroad. We could not have been happier with the good stewardship Michael provided in caring for our home.

*FREE: House sitting is usually free, for both sitter and house owner, although this is completely up to the individuals. There are usually some costs that need to be covered by either the sitter or the house owner e.g. electricity, phone usage, vet fees etc. How these costs are handled needs to be agreed before the sit begins. House sitters pay a single annual membership fee, while house owners pay nothing to advertise their house or to contact sitters.
