I appreciate every moment of this life, not just the serene and beautiful ones but also the difficult, challenging and painful ones that lead to the lessons from which I grow.

I approach each day with the intention I would, of a memory I have chosen to revisit.

I know there are incredibly beautiful moments I appreciated and would want to relive. I know there are moments I missed appreciating because I was distracted by something inconsequential (I look for those). Finally, I know there are moments that were painful, challenging and difficult and I know with the perfect 20/20 vision that is hindsight, that those are the moments in which I learned, grew and evolved. Every day I wake up and say, “I don’t know why I chose to revisit today but I’m looking forward to remembering.”
