Joan & David

we are two retired professionals who love to travel and love animals. Because we now travel and now have an adorable 8 ear old poodle we would like to open up our house in exchange for care of our dog, Luke. . We have been doing house exchanges through Homeexchange.com for several years with great success.

About Us....

David is a retired professional, having worked for IBM in Burlington, VT for 30 years. He also owns and manages rental property in Vermont, He enjoys hiking, bicycling, architecture, art, and traveling, (obviously). David volunteers for Adult Learning tutoring clients from the resettlement project.

Joan is also retired. She was Assistant Director of Human Resources for the University of Vermont for several years and then started her own Human Resources and Career Counseling business that thrived for the twenty five years she was in business. She now leads small-group workshops on a limited basis. Joan also volunteers for a couple of non-profit organizations in the Burlington area.

We are family oriented enjoying as much time as we can with our children and four grandchildren. We are fortunate because they all live in Vermont..
