Hello! Gilles and I are Canadian homeowners from Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. We’ve been together for 24 years. We owned 5 cats over the last 20 years. When the last of our cats died, we took a break from being cat owners but adopted a 5 year old long haired male call Theo in May 2024. We’ve had a few house sits since we started in June 2023. A couple of them in Canada, including one recall, and a few in England in December 2023 and January 2024. We are registered with TrustedHousesitters, housesittingcanada, housesittingamerica, and housesittinguk. We’ve cared for dog/cat combinations, just dogs and just cats. We get a lot of satisfaction from being able to take care of the pets and visit a place that is new to us. We use an electric car so would appreciate being able to charge at the homeowners residence. Although, if there is a fast charger close by, we’ll use that for charging. When we’re traveling together we prefer our own bedroom, if possible. We will follow your instructions and respect your home as if it were our own.
